About Us

Hello, I’m Han Ju Ko, Managing Director of SAMSUNG E&A Thailand.

Since 1991, the Thailand office has jointly executed around 45 projects within Thailand alone. Acting as the local focal point, we closely collaborate with the Seoul office to ensure the successful and high-quality delivery of each project. Recently, we have expanded into soft work such as FEL and FEED, as well as small-scale EPC projects, steadily growing into a subsidiary capable of managing a broader range of business areas.

Beyond Thailand, we also support engineering, procurement, construction, project management, and commissioning activities for projects in neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. In addition to business operations, we are committed to contributing to the local community. We have established three Hope Libraries across Thailand and continue to provide environmental education programs in underserved areas.

Moving forward, the Thailand office will continue to pursue projects that integrate SAMSUNG E&A’s unique innovation and expertise, particularly for major clients across Southeast Asia, in line with our vision of “Creating a Better Future with Advanced Technology.”

Lap Phetsut

Engineering

Hello, I am Lap Phetsut, a professional working in the Layout and Piping Engineering Group under the Hydrocarbon Business Division, where I'm responsible as a Piping Lead Engineer.

The role of a piping engineer involves designing and overseeing the installation of pipes in various structures. They plan and create the layout for piping systems, ensuring they meet safety and efficiency standards. Additionally, piping engineers collaborate with other professionals to address technical aspects and ensure the proper functioning of pipelines in different industries.

Furthermore, piping engineers play a key role in organizing the arrangement of entire plant facilities, determining the positioning of equipment and process units on the plot, and designing the interconnected piping systems according to relevant regulations and standards such as ASME B31.3 (Process piping), ASME B31.1 (Power Piping) and API 570 (Piping Inspector).

At SAMSUNG E&A, you will experience the piping system in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and refinery industries. You can learn from our staff and grow together in the field of industrial piping system design.

Wanchana Putthongchai

Project Management

Hello, I'm Wanchana Putthongchai, a professional responsible for Project Management in the Project & Construction Department at SE&A Thailand.

The role of Project Management is both challenging and rewarding, as it spans the entire project lifecycle — from initiation to completion — covering planning, execution, monitoring, and control. Teamwork and effective communication are key to the success of any project. As such, the Project Management team must serve as the central hub of communication for all project stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning — and, most importantly, the client.

I began my career at SE&A Thailand as a junior project engineer, and I was truly excited about every task I was assigned, and each one taught me new knowledge and skills. In my most recent project, I was assigned the role of Project Completion Manager.
